The work that The Primrose Foundation do is, in part, only possible because of the volunteers that work tirelessly with us.

Volunteering with us doesn’t cost a thing and doesn’t mean a huge commitment of your time – it can be as much or as little as you can and we will help you every step of the way.

There’s lots of opportunities for you to join our volunteer team and we’re also really keen to hear of any new ideas around volunteering.

Being a volunteer is such a rewarding experience but don’t just take our word for it:

“After being diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the tender age of 29, I have spent the last two years under the care of the Primrose Breast Care Centre. If it wasn’t for the equipment donated by the foundation or the exceptionally trained team they wouldn’t have found my second cancer, which was found super early.

The Staff within the Centre have taken such excellent care of me and have helped turn my story into a really positive one and for that I am so grateful. There are lots of ways you can volunteer

Support others - We run regular support groups and coffee mornings, that are relaxed and friendly, for patients and their families receiving treatment for breast disease. We are always looking for volunteers that are willing to help, listen and comfort those that need it. If you are passionate about helping others, we would love to hear from you.

At Events - We are always looking for reliable, helpful and approachable people to help at our events, whether it is supporting our staff by keeping our area clean, chatting to patients and their families or simply helping with refreshments, your time will be much appreciated.

Help us raise funds - We regularly promote ourselves and attend as many functions as possible; we often need volunteers to help coordinate those events as well as helping to collect donations via gift aid envelopes or coin collectors. If this is something you feel you would be able to help with we would love to hear from you.
