If you have satellite navigation the postcode for University Hospitals Plymouth is PL6 8HD.
We know parking can be difficult, so please don’t worry if you’re running late – just give the Primrose Breast Care Centre a call on 01752 432066 and let them know.
What happens when you come into the Centre
Please make your way to the reception desk at the Primrose Breast Care Centre and we can get you all checked in. You’ll be asked to confirm your name, address, telephone number & GP’s name, so if you have that information to hand, that would be great.
You’ll be asked to take a seat in the waiting area, so perhaps bring a book or magazine and some water to make you more comfortable. Every appointment is different and some take longer than others so please, relax as much as you can and the team will call you through as soon as they can. You’ll then head into an examination room to meet our friendly team.
Appointment process & waiting times
We want everyone who comes to the Centre, to have as much time as they need. For example, a one stop clinic appointment can take a few hours, so when parking, please allow yourself plenty of time.

There is access to water and a hot drinks machine at the Centre and we’d recommend bringing in a few snacks just in case. There is also a restaurant on level 7 – our friendly receptionist can help direct you. We do ask that you let a member of staff know if you are leaving the Centre, so it doesn’t affect appointment times.
We would recommend you ask a friend or family member to come along to your appointment with you, if it isn’t a routine appointment as you will naturally feel nervous and it’s good to have someone to support you.
